Being known as a fashion stylist for his entire career, Steven Dahlberg is ready to break out of his boundaries and become more than that.
Having worked as a fashion director for the most famous Dutch fashion magazine for men, Steven Dahlberg has left a remarkable trace for his distinctive creativity in the industry. Leaping beyond all of that glory, he is utterly excited to climb to the next level and make a name for himself. “I don’t need it anymore. I need to go further.”
Meeting Steven for the first time, he struck me as a man with a great style without even trying, laid-back but still fashionable. But as he narrated, I marvelled even more at Steven’s abilities. “Whether it’s consulting or coaching or any other different kinds of things that has to do with fashion, I can bring that over to people and cultivate my experience. I can work from being in a business to thinking about concepts to make nice advertisements. I did some really crazy stuff!”. Indeed, one click away, and the name Steven Dahlberg just sprung up in my search engines with all of his marvellous works.
What I find the most interesting is his own online fashion magazine – “a curated blackbook” as he says – dhlberg.com. Steven Dahlberg is well-known for his styling knowledge, but I wouldn’t have known that he would make such a great editor until I paid a visit to his website. Steven definitely has a way with his words!
Working with clothes requires you to have certain knowledge of grand fashion houses such as Gucci and Chanel. Indeed, dhlberg.com is absolutely a place to go to if you’re in need of educating yourself with all the newest trends that are happening in the scene. However, Steven also appears to be a “headhunter” as he promotes emerging talents from different art sectors. (Conor Walmsley – rising ballet dancer, Gunifort Uwambaga – not even a model but a book publisher, Carlito Wacki – a new face for modelling).
If you’re interested enough and look him up on Instagram, would you be surprised to find out that Steven is also a Muay Thai trainer? Yes, he is, I know right?
As a man with such talents, a typical workday for Steven must be hectic. Looking at his schedule, fashion-wise, it’d go from dressing up professionally to meet up with clients to heading straight to the gym for a Muay Thai session. Flexibility sounds like an important word for a man like Steven Dahlberg to keep in mind!
But Laboratorium is beyond happy to accompany Steven Dahlberg on his way to build his name. With sleek designs made out of high-quality products crafted in Italy, Laboratorium’s clothes not only gives off a metropolitan vibe but also guarantees utmost comfort.
The Leonardo Tee is a simplistic design with subtly matte Laboratorium logo on chest with set- in sleeves in the front and raglan sleeve in the back.
The Ysaac Tapered Joggers offer a tough look with futuristic paneling and hidden side pockets and back pockets
We hope that no matter what Steven does, either going to the gym or working in his office, he will always be satisfied with the flexible look that Laboratorium stands for.
I can’t wait to see his next steps: opening his own business? Starting a new fashion magazine? Or becoming a Muay Thai trainer? I don’t know. But whatever it will be, Steven Dahlberg is definitely worth vouching for. No, I should call him Mr.Dhlberg – as he would say.
